SAFE PRODUCTS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
There are different recommendations for pregnant and lactating women because the fetus in the stomach is exposed to substances in much higher concentrations through the blood in the umbilical cord than is the case in breast milk.
You can safely use all products with the exception of SUPERFOOD multipurpose vitamin face gel when you are pregnant. The reason is that SUPERFOOD multipurpose vitamin face gel contains vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate).
Pregnant women should limit their intake of vitamin A during pregnancy because vitamin A intake is associated with an increased risk of birth defects. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority therefore recommends that pregnant women avoid skin care products containing vitamin A.
If you are pregnant and have already used SUPERFOOD, you do not need to worry. The recommendation is based on the principle of being on the safe side.
You can safely use all the products, including SUPERFOOD multipurpose vitamin facial gel.
